The standard and certifiable IQ test that I took was almost entirely logical reasoning problems. There were maybe two questions that you absolutely needed to know how to do higher math (Calculus) to do. A few that required basic physics knowledge. Some that required you to know a bit about literary writing terms... But most of it just simply tested your minds ability to cope with a situation and solve problems. It was kind of like doing a bunch of puzzles and riddels. Except puzzles and riddles are more fun. It was still interesting to see how much information they can give you about your intellect after answering all the questions. They give you a huge packet that tells you all about your personallity and what you're strenghts are and so forth just based on which answers you chose. It's almost 90% psychology and 10% intellect...
