Im not that familiar with the Digidesign kit though I use Logic a lot.

I don't think these two work well together. If you have another I/O device I'd use it with core audio and use the 002 as a control surface. Logic 7.2 (mine is in the post wehey !!) may help the stability problems people have had with the 002 / Logic however I'd not hold my breath !
