Reminds me of my school's "performance group". It consists of a pianist who can only play at one volume (ie deafeningly loud), a guitarist who, again, can only play at one volume (ie. inaudible), a drummer who can't keep time, a decent lead singer, and a choir, consisting mostly of 8th and 9th grade girls, plus a few boys with high-pitched voices. They know two songs: our school song, which is more or less the name "Columba" chanted ad nauseam (my school is called St. Columba's), and "Jesus, Lover of my Soul". The music department wheels this sorry lot out at every school function and gets them to perform those songs, and make failed attempts at a few other woolly, feel-good doggerel hymns. We have plenty of other, more competent musicians who would serve better, but you can only join the performance group if you're studying elective music - and many real musicians have dropped elective music because it's so badly taught.

If at first you don't succeed, you are obviously not Chuck Norris.
