Well, this is a good place especially lead guitarist wants to warm-up before they do heavy stuff on the guitar. Well, this is my warm up normally I do before jamming or even gigs or show on stage.

Slide up---> /
Slide down-> \
1st.
As mentioned by Captain Crunch.
Chromatic Exercise.
*Can start on any strings any frets.

2nd
(3rd string)-----------2-3-4-5----------3-4-5-6
(5th String)---2-3-4-5---------3-4-5-6---------
Play this until 12th fret or your preferences

3rd
1-------------------------------5-6-7
2-------------------------5-6-7
3-------------------5-6-7
4-------------5-6-7
5-------5-6-7
6-5-6-7

sliding chromatic technique(do not know if this exist, i figure it on my own) This concept is to practice your sliding as well an Effects which I do not know what to name. This practice can be used on any frets any strings anytime. Of course, it will sounds meaningless. This is what I used for warm up. You may also do some string skippings e.g(2) :on 2nd string 3rd fret, slide up and pick on the 5th string 12 fret and slide down. Or you may try without looking at the frets and just play alternate slidings up and down and up and down......

(Eg. 1)
1-------------------5\
2----------------9/
3-------------5\
4---------12/
5------7\
6---12/

(E.g 2)
1---------------------7/
2---3/------------------
3----------------12\----
4-----------2/----------
5------5\---------------
6-----------------------

Simple Hammer Tapping Exercise
H:Hammer, P:Pull, T:Tap with the right finger(any)
(1) T P H T P H T
3rd String ----12-0-7-12-0-7-12 (Continuously 8 beat)

this
(2) T P H T P H T
4th string ----12-0-7-12-0-7-12 (Continuously 8 beat)
You can create something with this with your own idea

phewww...sorry too long... ok, i'll stop until here...there is more, of course arpegious, pentatonic exercise, diminish exercise, tap and slide exercise, slide then bend exercise, and lots more and I think someone else will cover this. So, this is what I will only contribute to this thread.
