Setting it off occasionally is more or less tolerated up to a point. Mostly if you're just using it as a joke or something or if it's crucial to the point you're making. But if you're constantly setting it off and being abusive just for the sake of being confrontational, then it's against the forum rules.

It's also against the rules to try and trick the filter by doing things like spelling out a partial word yourself and adding your own asterisks or putting spaces between letters to trick the filter. Alternate spellings aren't allowed either if the meaning is clear.

The thing to remember is that this is a family board with both parents and children on it, so keep the conversations civilized and set an example for other people.
