We used to get MAD magazine over here (UK) I used to love it. Probably why I turned out like i did. I loved the adverts, especially "Real, working 2-man submarine" with an illustration of 2 kids in one. I used to dream of going down the locally disused quarry, and launching one in the water that now fills them. I changed my mind when a neighbours kid drowned on a home-made raft at the same place.
Then I just grew up......
