Try reading some James Joyce, seriously. Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man and Ulysses are the best, in my opinion. Like, if you want to see someone who can do what I just did with the language times, I dunno, about a million, he's the guy to look at. Amazing word choice, his writing is poetry in prose form.
