I'd love to just forget her and go chasing somebody else, but I've gone and deluded myself into believing that she's "the one". And what's worse, before today I was under the illusion that I was making some headway with her - we're on "smile-shyly-and-wave-as-we-pass-each-other" terms. I guess she must have been doing it to humour me... :(
Should I just ignore her from now on, or should I at least say something about my feelings before I run off?
