Tortex it is! or gator grips...if the shop is out of tortex..1.5mm? thats what I use.

But even then, when playing my baritone...espesially with open "chugs" like 6strngs was playing, I wear them down...guess thats the price you pay for having such heavy guage strings...

what string guage are you playing 6strngs?
