Had a friend from Detroit. His family were the in-and-out-of-prison you-name-the-drug-they-did/done-it sorts.

Years and years ago they had a family reunion and it turned into a massive WWF/JerrySpringer-style brawl... i.e. tables, chairs, etc. And both men and women were doing it.

Well, he told me it became a tradition after that. And that at every family reunion they've had since... at the end of the night they would spontaneously overturn the tables and start beating the crap out of one another.
