Unless you say guitar is life. Then, since I devote pretty near every waking moment to guitar or GT, or thinking about one of those, GT is for me because I DO have life, and a life. So GT IS life, and life is, in fact, GT.

GT is not life, it is the thing that makes life worth living. was there life before GT, yes, because we didn't know what GT was, but now once we have it, it can never be taken away, for if it is, our lives would be meaningless. and we would destroy ourselves for fear of the unknown, the unknown being life without GT.

But if there was life before GT then that life would ultimately be meaningless. That means that generations after generations waded through a meaningless existence. Natural selection would have surely killed us off before GT came around, especially if we weren't going anywhere or doing anything. So how? How, I ask. How did we come into an existence with meaning/GT if we grew from something that yielded nothingness?

It's called evolution. Man was created for the sole purpose of getting smart enough to one day create GT. That day was finally in sight when our Lord and Saviour Jon Broderick came into existence. Now that we have had a taste of GT, we can never be without it, as 6strngs said. We would curl up and die. Who among us can honestly say we would live meaningful lives without Akira's picture-fueled wit, Ninja's intense wisdom, and Jolly's knack for the ridiculous? No, we would simply dry up and blow away.

Those that witnessed the and that's it saga know I'm all for evolution, but my question is if we begin as a meaningless thing can we evolve into something that has meaning? Sure we pinpoint meaning to ourselves, but our existence is still serendipitous. If there was no GT before then we had no meaning, but now that we have it we've evolved into something that was intended and with a purpose?
