level 1 - absolute beginner, doesn't even know how to hold a pick
level 2 - beginner, but you know your basic scales and chords
level 3 - you know how to play, but most of your playing is done in your bedroom, alone
level 4 - intermediate, you get small gigs
level 5 - you get good sized, respectable gigs
level 6 - you tour the country
level 7 - you tour the world
level 8 - professional, you make a decent living off of playing
level 9 - you have an albulm with a big name record company
level 10 - God-like, the best of the best, on par or even better then satch, vai, malmsteen, etc.
