yamaha makes very sturdy acoustic guitars. my acoustic is probably 20 years old, and ill still take it to summer camps, swim meets, etc. i taught myself on it. we go way back :D course by now it doesnt sound good for recordings or anything, and its pretty beat up. but i still love the thing.
