Actually one of my favorite metal bands has always been Deadhorse, a somewhat unheard of band from around here in Houston. They certainly never "made" it, and broke up eventually in mid-90's...but they had a few indie label albums. Not sure on the catagory either: a 'lil death, satire, humor, intensity, fast and slow with some definite Texan flavor!
