I have a problem.
In New Metal it's very common for example Mudvayne do this a lot, that you have to play really fast hammer on-pulls off powerchord-combos where you also have to be able to play a barree with the pinky.

But I cannot do this. I have tried it but it doesn't work. I simply am not able to push down the 3 thickest strings with the fingertip of my pinky. I think that if you have too short or too delicate fingers you simply cannot do this. What do you think? I really don't know how to improve or train this.
But people like the Mudvayne guy easily do such stuff and their fingers are relaxed and not even stiff. I can only play a barree with the pinky if I totally harden my pinky. :(
