I'm working on a new composition and am having difficulties creating the beats required. I'm programming it into Cubase and have to set up the quantize and time signature... therein lies the problem.
The piece is played at 170 bpm on a steady stacatto rhythm, with phrasings of triplets between each click over eight bar segments...

eg: first 4 clicks of an 8 bar phrase

What is the time signature????
