I'm buying a fender '65 super reverb reissue. It's on layaway with about $850 left to go on it. Now. When I play it at the local Guitar Center Everything sounds awesome, great clean (duh), reverb, everything. but since it is in the GC i cant crank it! It's 40 watts, so to get it to it's sweet spot, it's not too loud (sorta) so I dont need an attenuator. But if I do crank it to get overdrive it will kill my ears. but my question is, does the super get enough overdrive to be worth buying an attenuator? what I mean is, if it's just going to clip a little then I dont need one, but if it really goes out into smooth overdrive that i cant get without earsplitting volumes then I need an attenuator. So how much does it get?
I am Comfortably Numb... :D

Oh yeah...STICK IT TO THE MAN!
