I guess my custom guitar at this point would be a Mahogony Jackson Kelly, probably a 3-tone black fade to deep blood red in the middle, no pickguard, set maple neck with ebony 24-jumbo fret board. It'd be loaded with Barenuckle pickups or Gibson 500T and 469R pickups. 1 Tone 1 Volume, 3-way switch, original floyd rose and 1 11/16" locking nut, sperzel locking tuners. The strap pins would be balanced so that it wouldn't nose dive and the weight of the guitar would be evenly distributed for minimum fatigue. I think I'd want ESP to make the guitar though cause I love the necks on ESP/LTD guitars. As for an amp well that's a bit tougher. I love so many amps I don't know if I'd be able to pick just one. I guess I'd go with a Mark IIC+ head. I know they are over rated, but still. It'd either be that or a Rivera Rake, a HiWatt head like East Bay Ray used for most (?) of the DK recordings, or a Mesa Mark III blue stripe or green stripe.
