Ouch... I'm not sure about that either. I wouldn't trust them with it just in a gig bag. One thing that you can do, if you really wanted to get it home... is pack it up really good with lots of soft padding in a large box and ship it home a week or so before you leave. I'm scared to check in my guitar and I have a case thats designed to travel in luggage compartments and such... So I wouldnt even consider it. haha. However, an electric is less sensitive than an acoustic... but I still don't know about it.
