I'm an interesting grab on that one. You know, I've got the typical virtuosos in my book like Vai, Satriani, Petrucci, etc. that I adhere to. I've got my personal favorites like John Levasseur and some others that are escaping me at the moment, and of course there are plenty of people that don't even fall into the guitar music category that I adhere to plenty. And I've got my list of guilty pleasures which includes people that don't make music overly complicated or do anything really breakthrough-like, but I still enjoy them all the same. I can't really say who I think is the greatest because I just listen to way too much music. On the notion of influence, though. I can say who it is that influences me to progress as a musician more than anyone else. And that would be me. I'm not trying to boast or anything, just saying that when I listen to my own music I enjoy it and I want to see myself grow beyond it and take what I can already do even further. I don't really hold any goals to be able to top Vai or anything. I find things like that silly and somewhat childish. I do want to be able to top myself though. To me that's real growth. And so is the tale of the wonderous shoopuff. And that, as they say, is that.

Whatever you do, don't eat limes. A friend of mine ate a lime once and BAM!! Two years later. Herpes.
