I read in Guitar World the other day that i order to play a great solo, you have to feel and know what chords are falling behind it....i try this all the time but all i end up doing is playing the same notes out of a pentatonic box scale, lets say the A blues scale. I know how to play up the neck but it seems every time i hit a wrong note or dont hear what im trying to play. How can i improve this?
