Neal Schon. He's been a professional guitarist at least since he was 15 years old (he's 47 now), and he has done rock, blues, fusion, new age, hard rock, and even a beautiful version of "O Come O Come Emmanuel" (I believe that's on "Merry Axmas II") And his solo album "Electric World" is incredible (Two Cd set, instrumental, mostly jazz/fusion style, if you don't have it, try to get it and give it a listen). Don't write this guy off if all you think of is his stuff with JOurney cause he's done SO much more than Journey (and they have a new CD out too). I think he's my favorite simply because of his talent and skill, his passion and his awesome versatility to play so many different styles.
