Hi, just thought I'd say that I have a Laney LC50 which is the 1x12 version, I was getting more and more frustrated with the sound, it just couldn't give me what I was after, until recently when I had it serviced and re-valved with svetlana 6L6's and also (as luck would have it) spied a 4x10 matching Laney cab in the same shop which I managed to pick up for £150!! Anyway the sound I get now from the full rig is spot on, the cab has opened up the sound loads, and the amp seems to be fulfilling its power potential!! Just thought i'd post to stick up for the classic British Laney!!!
