isn't pokemon fire red and leaf green supposed to be exact remakes of the original red and blue? if so, I'm picking one up one of these days/

over the course of pokemon, I owned: blue, yellow, and gold.. blue and yellow were great, gold was kinda fun, but there were too many new pokemon that I didn't know, so it wasn't as fun. blue and yellow kicked ass though... even though yellow was like the exact same as blue except you get to start with pikachu instead of the choice of the usual 3: charmander, bulbasaur, squirtle... I always picked charmander, cause it was hardest since the first two gyms were rock and water.
