Truth be known, I was just debating to debate. I really don't care if it comes back or not. I will apologize for my wrongful acts however. I won't deny my stepping out of the line, but I don't necessarily think anyone had gotten severe enough for an actual thread closing, but then again I'm not a mod, so I guess my thoughts don't really count that much in that respect. And given the way the thread started out, being a blatant open for a debate on politics and religion, it was practically inevitable that it'd turn out the way it did. So, y'know. There will be other threads.
