What I am saying is you will one day need to be self reliant. If you got poor grades and made nothing of yourself then who is going to give a crap about you? There are plenty of talented musicians out there, set yourself apart by being disaplined enough to get a good education to go with it. If you are really serious about music, and the music business then go to school to learn more about your passion. Because you love the subject matter, and because you have aquired the good prictice skills you will be great at it and enjoy school rather then thinking of it as a burden.
