"Wtf is ignorant about my views" is what you meant to say. Back on track, saying that Bill O'Reilly never cuts peoples mics off to keep them from getting points across is ignorant. Saying that Bill O'Reilly never lies is ignorant, and at best naive. Claiming that France is incapable of fighting a war is ignorant, even though it's an old joke that, yes, I appreciate. See, the thing about a joke is, it's only good a couple of times. To include a France joke in nearly every post just got tired. Besides, Napoleon conquered all of Europe except Britain, and the French army did a pretty damn good job supressing uprisings in Algeria for 132 years, so that's not too shabby either. I state my opinion quite a bit, but I'll remind you that it's not as a result of my being conservative. You see, I don't agree with many of your points. For instance, I don't agree with everything President Bush has done. I agree that the recession is the fault of the Clinton administration, but it's prolonged lingering was a result of incompetence on the part of the Bush administration. Fortunately the economy has been recovering for quite a while now, so I feel the upward trend is a nice sign for the current admin. I wasn't a fan of the creation of the Department of Homeland Security. As a conservative, I hate ot see yet another expensive government organization rise up from nowhere. Hurrah, more beaurocracy! And how do they pay for that beaurocracy? Taxes. With President Bush's tax policies as they are, he should be doing his best to SHRINK government, not expand it. I agree with his tax policies, but his bloating of government is ridiculous and unnecessary. We have the CIA, we have the FBI, we have the NSA, we don't NEED the department of Homeland Security. The President's reasoning for going into Iraq was poor, I believe we should be there, but I think the administration could have been a bit wiser before our entry. The Plame affair and Harriet Miers are just a few more idiotic mistakes that the Republican party cannot afford to have associated with them. George W. Bush's approval rating is 36%. He's lost plenty of support from conservatives, libertarians, and anyone else that might vote for him in a national election. Ideally I'm a moderate libertarian, but, to tell you the truth, I'd have voted Joe Lieberman into the office of the presidency before I voted for President Bush in the '04 elections. Too bad the dems didn't seem to throw much support to him. I really think he'd have been the best president in the bunch.
