Maybe though it is unprecedented on this kinda scale. Nobody cared when terrorist were confined to Israel. Suddenly they are all over the damn place. They declared war on everyone. Bush says 1 percent of muslims act this way. There are over a billion muslims which makes that 1 percent figure around 10 million. That's a few radicals. I believe with Abu Gharib and what not that figure climbs everyday. We aren't getting rid of them ever. Furthermore we are taking over invaluable oil rescources which has to worry people. If we are hell bent on taking control of the region somebody is going to stand up against us. I believe this "war on terror" is a great cover for the "get all the oil we can war". When it becomes apparent of what we are really doing people who are not our core allies i.e. NATO, are going to be really pissed off.
