I think to try and stop that would be wrong (and even dangerous). If someone can produce a product of equal quality overseas for cheaper, all people will see at retail is a cheaper price. I don't have a problem with material made over seas to be honest. Right now I've got a guitar in my lap made outside of the US and it happens to be my favorite of my bunch. But it's not just manufacturing jobs that go over seas. Sure it's nice to get something cheaper, but it's also nice to be able to pay for it. And saying it's not political isn't really true. There's a huge political stance in the economy. People vote for a president in hopes that they will shift the economy in their favor. Yeah there's more money, but not as many people have a share.
