Anyone know how they got that name (speculatively)?

I heard a couple of theories:

1)It came from the names of two brands of rolling paper- Zig-Zag and Tops

2)It was a tribute to blues guitarist ZZ Hill

Who invented the electric guitar?

I think Les Paul is credited for busting open a radio and modifying his acoustic with the parts, then playing through another radio as a makeshift amp. Some other guy made the design better. I think he was french, or at least had a french name. I could be wrong.

Ok it's not really in the form of a question, cuz I doubt anyone would get this (I wouldn't have until just now), but I was watching VH1's top one hit wonders show. So apparently Jimi Hendrix is a "one hit wonder" officially since he only had one song (All Along the Watchtower) break the top 20. I would've figured more...
