I recently tried out a pod and was amazed at how versatile it was and I couldn't believe how good it made the guitar sound. Anyways with that in mind, if you buy a pod does it matter what amp and pickups you have and if so, how much? I was looking at buying a fender strat deluxe this summer also putting in Lace Sensor Holy Grail pickups. If I eventually buy a pod will the pickups have enough impact on the sound to make them worth the purchase?
