Hey,
A Couple of months ago I got this guitar

And I play it and am Suprised at the sweet sound I can get out of it,
(I've compared it at a guitar shop many times to a MIM Fender and I don't see much difference in Sound Quality).

It says It has three single coil Alnico Pickups on it, And I was Basically wondering what Alnico Pickups are?.
Are they a Brand or a Specific kind of pickup?
