Yea, I wouldn't trust the ETA. I've ordered off of amazon before and the stuff comes pretty fast. I think they just use the long ETA dates to cover their ass. Did you go with super-shipper-saver thing, for orders of more than $25? That's what I do when I order off there and I've never had anything take more than a week.
