Just two days ago, I ordered some cool books (All w/CD) from Amazon.

- Blues You Can Use [Paperback] By: John Ganapes (Composer)
- Blues Licks You Can Use [Paperback] By: John Ganapes (Composer)
- The Best of ZZ Top : A Step-by-Step Breakdown of the Guitar Styles and Techniques of Billy Gibbons [Paperback] By: Dave Rubin, ZZ Top

They shipped the latter two books together yesterday. The "Blues you can use" book is still waiting to ship.

But on this day, the second full day since I placed my order, I just found out that my shipment is already (what appears to be) on the last leg to my location (Middlebury/Shipshewana IN)! It was sent out from LEXINGTON, KY. and was last tracked en-route away from DETROIT MI. I don't know how efficient USPS is, but I'm about a 3 hour drive from Detroit! I'd hate to get my hopes up too high, but the first shipment might show up in a couple days! But strangely, Amazon's "Where's my stuff" account info says Estimated Arrival: Dec 05, 2005.

GO FIGURE
Lets see, it took one day to get boxed and accepted by the carrier, it took one day to travel over 3/4's of the way to my place, and what(?), now it's supposed to take 17 days to finally make it to my ship-to address? I suspect that they don't have a decent ETA system in place, or else my shipment will be taking a continental tour, literally...

QUESTION
Anyone shopped from Amazon before? Which should I trust more, the fast efficiency of the delivery status up to this point, or Amazon's ETA? By the progress made so far, you'd think I "might" get it by tomorrow (Sat), if not, early next week...

Also, it might be enrout TO Detroit, the two different USPS webpages are somewhat conflicting how it reads...
