Back in my day we had to wait until we were 16 to get a permit, we could get our license too at that age. I remember rumors about them changing the driving age, but it didn't happen until I was 18.

well, I just got my license today! and I did it just in time. I belive starting next year you are going to have to be 17 for license 16 1/2 for permit... in california anyway. your state is probably different. however, now that I already have my license, they can't take it away when the law changes...
