Check your Windows sound card duplex settings: Select Start - Settings - Control Panel and then open the System icon. Select the Device Manager tab at the top of the page and then scroll down to Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Click on the Plus sign to expand the devices. At this point, your sound card settings may be different from mine. I have a Creative AWE64 - When I highlight the card and select properties, there is a Settings tab along with the General, Driver and Resource tabs. On the Settings tab, there is a checkbox "Allow Full-Duplex operation". If this is not checked, you cannot record and playback at the same time. Your Vibra card supports full-duplex, so maybe this is the problem.
