Never tried one but I hear they are pretty sweet. You can get the Vox Valvetronix AD30VT 30W combo for 239.00 at Musicians Friend. There's 102 reviews there as well. Look on Harmony Central for amp or even guitar reviews. Also, try the search button on the forum. You will find posts about VOX, I found 11 pages of them. Good luck!
