I think you will always have your "clicks" when it comes to guitars. How many people love SRV, and Hendrix and so on, and want that tone? They're most of your strat fans. How many folks love the rock sound only a Gibson LP can give you? What I'm gettin at here is everyone is different and buys different brands or may own more than one brand already. Therefore, no one certain company will dominate the market any time soon.
