Well, he pretty much stole things right out of various peoples' pockets. The primary trick is his pickpocketting, which he usually gets away with by distracting everyone (or as he put it, making them forget what he does). Be it crafty little card tricks, intense mathmatical equations, or some other trick of the trade, his victims pretty much start looking at what he's looking at then behind the victim he raises his hand with their wallet or whatever in his hand. He'd taken the watch right off one of my board members' wrist. Of course he gave everything back, but it was entertaining to see.
