Other than learning actual solos, I'd also recommend trying unison bends. That's where you fret any note on the B string, then 2 frets up, fret the note on the G string. Now bend the G string up to match the pitch of the fretted note on the B. This also works for the E and B strings as well, only you'd have to go up 3 frets and start the bend on the B to match the note of the E string. This way you'll know how much you need to bend to and can more easily do it in pitch. Once you can do it fairly well, try to add some vibrato to the bent note for extra emphasis. So quickly, this would look like:
