I have finally decided to break down and spend the money to make my sound better - and finally have more than just an Amp, a Pedal and a Guitar.

So I have gotten these items and don't know how I should connect them.

First off I have a Crate GLX212:
(Can I connect all these things through the effects loop like a series connection or not? - Is the first question.)

My Rack includes:

Slot 1:
Nady PRA-8 Mic PreAmp (Not really for jamming purposes, but I need something to connect my mics to when recording and this offers a way to connect through my PC interface for use with Pro Tools and such.)

Slot 2:
Alesis 3630 Compressor/Limiter. (I got this a long time ago because I have a guitar that I tunned to Baritone that always peaked at high impact sections and made the amp rumble.)

Slot 3:
DOD SR430QXLR Graphic Equalizer.

Slot 4:
Behringer DSP2024P Virtualizer Pro.

Slot 5:
Empty. I haven't decided or I don't know what else I might need.

Slot 6:
The Power Supply (Furman M-10)

And I want to add a wah or volume pedal into this configuration as well.

I haven't gotten it yet but I will be getting a Tascam US-122 NEW Audio Midi Interface for recording.

As I said I got all this but now I'm affraid I'll connect something wrong and burn my Equipment up so I would like some advice on how you would connect this stuff for the best results. Once for recording, and then once for when I'm just Writing and Jamming.

And if there is anything that I could buy (Under $250) that would make this better please share. As I said I am new to all of this!

I would REALLY appreciate ANY help anyone can offer. I have searched the web for days now trying to find a site that offers help for Pro Audio connections and have come away empty handed.

P.S. I've posted a this Thread on the "Home Recording BBS," and aside from a few folks that actually tried to help I got nothing but crap over my equipment. So I'll say this now, NO, I did not go all out and spend my net income for the next 2 years, but I did read several user reviews on several brands and came up with this combo.
