Hello, can a 250k pot be used for a single volume control set up? Also I have an old Hofner copy Im trying to wire. Can anyone point me to a wiring diagram for 2 pickups and one volume control.

I wired this, I thought it was correct but Im still waiting on strings to put it together. I can switch the 3way and the pickups change but there is a constant buzz and not sure the volume is affecting the signal.

I know that with the strings on it, it will be grounded correctly but...

Any insight or thoughts would be appreciated
