Gotcha....

But what I was wondering was whether the nodes of the vibrating string needed to be considered as I think I read somewhere that a lot of 24 fret guitars had tonal issues attributed to pickup placement being...well lees than optimal nodally speaking.

I hoped someone might have some solid info on this.
