Learning new skills can be a good thing, but poking around inside an amp is not something that should be self-taught. As Vinny has shown, even someone familiar with what they're doing can get hurt. If you want to learn about amplifier troubleshooting and service, get a tech to train you.

The labels that say "No user serviceable parts inside." are there for good reasons.
