I am currently considering a JS1000 (Black Pearl) myself. A few months ago I stumbled upon a website - www.ibanezrules.com. I think the guy's name is Rich Harris and you can get this model through him and he apparently does a COMPLETE set up b/f shipping the guitar to you. Read the setup info on the site and you'll see what I mean - this guy is the Eric Johnson of Ibanez setups. If I do get one, it will probably be through him. I played one recently at a Guitar Center and it was pretty nice. I went back shortly thereafter to play it again and it was gone.
