Do not expect it to make you rich. It is a lot of work for not much in the way of pay. I do it because it is something I enjoy doing, not because it pays well !!

It works out to about a grand a year (which is taxable). However to become an instructor you will probably be asked to make video lessons and that, if you are not already kited out, can get expensive.

I ended up spending $600 on a camera (Sony Handycam) and probably another 3-400 hundred on video software, tripods, cables etc etc. And that is on top of having all the audio kit together.
