I have a carvin sx300h head, I love it. The effects are good, and the distortion is sweet sounding. Their stuff is definatly worth the money. The only complaint I have is that the amp switch pedal button's stick, so I just bought some from radio shack and replaced them. Oh yea, the channels are very clean sounding. I hooked a squire bullet up and put on the clean channel and there was barley any noise.
