Ah yes, T-Shirt... nice picks. I don't think they would work very well. Because I've use dimes and pennies when a pick wasn't avaible, and it sounds kind of... bleckh.
Yeah, I've used uncut coins and they do sound bad, but with the edges trimmed and polished they give a bell-tone quality. Good for harmonics too.
