Get your axe. Go down to your favorite music store and have them adjust the bridge for what ever gauge strings you use.
Have them intonate it also.
Most shops only charge thirty to forty bucks some even cheaper.
The trick to floyds when changeing strings:
Important tune the guitar to pitch before changing strings.
Start with the heavyest gauge strings first the 6th and 5th.
unlock only the nut lock for those two strings.
pull the sixth string off, adjust the the bridge fine tuner to the middle position.
Replace the sixth string with the new one. Tune to pitch.
pull the fifth string off, adjust the fine tuner, replace with the new string. Tune to pitch.
Lock the nut lock for those two strings.
Do the 4th and third, the second and first the same way.
Time consuming but really easy and none of the hassle.
Floyds kick ass
Oh by the way when you tighten the locks make sure you get them tight especially the bridge locks or you will pull the strings out when tuning. The guy that taught me said tighten till the allen wrench just wants to bend.
Rock on
