i think that part of the reason most of them skank themselves out is because, well, they can. most young people who are expected to be squeaky clean and upright rebel in some form or another; they are just more visible in the public eye. christina aguilera pissed off nearly all of hollywood with her excessive bitch-factor for awhile. britney spears was... well... gross from the start, and she reacted by chasing scandals and then letting herself go. jessica simpson makes up some BS about not stooping to their levels but the only reason anyone cares is because she's blonde and has big breasts, and hell, she dresses to show it, all the shows/films she's in go after it... lindsay lohan takes christina aguilera's place in the bitchy psycho girl place, and meanwhile mandy moore... well i have to give her credit for staying pretty low in the limelight.
